Data protection and the GDPR: online courses

Data protection can be a complicated topic to get to grips with, but it’s essential that people know how to handle information (data) appropriately as soon as they start in a new role, so I’ve created online GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) induction training that’s been specifically designed to cater for the needs of charities and voluntary organisations.

Organisations can choose from two different courses, to help ensure that all staff or volunteers who are enrolled on the training receive the type of information that THEY need for their specific role, in a way that offers them flexibility.

My advanced awareness course has been designed for managers and those making decisions about systems or processes that needs to be in place within an organisation. It provides those individuals with an in-depth overview of key aspects of the GDPR, as well as giving them no-nonsense guidance on how to manage and process data in a compliant manner.

My foundation course has been created for staff members or volunteers who will be handling data on a day-to-day basis, and need to know the practical essentials of data protection compliance, but don’t need as much detail around the legal elements that might influence how systems or processes are designed and implemented.

Both courses offer a range of top tips for how to process personal data in a pragmatic but legal way, and you won’t find any complex language or jargon in them as they’ve been crafted in a way that aims to make them as user-friendly and helpful as possible.

To find out more, you can view the full course content for either of those courses by clicking here. And you can then enrol staff or volunteers onto either course directly in just minutes!
